At Stringtown Elementary, we are united by one clear commitment: Every student, every day. Our school lives out our Charger P.R.I.D.E. values (Positive Attitude, Respect, Integrity, Determination, Expectations) daily—in academics, behavior, athletics, and relationships—creating a culture where students feel supported, challenged, and celebrated. Our dedicated, mission-driven staff fosters a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment built on high expectations and strong relationships. With lower student-to-teacher ratios, we are able to provide tailored instruction through small groups and targeted supports, ensuring every learner receives what they need to thrive. Our strong MTSS systems address both academics and behavior, guided by data from ILEARN, IREAD, and classroom assessments to drive collaborative decisions that move students forward.

Beyond the classroom, Stringtown offers rich opportunities for growth and connection. Students benefit from focused IREAD time, a phenomenal Reading Specialist, restorative circles, social and emotional learning (SEL) supports with intentional brain breaks and connection-building, and access to a Youth First Counselor. We celebrate student growth and achievement, host grade-level programs so families can see learning in action, and provide hands-on field trips that bring lessons to life. College connections and a Career Fair for 4th and 5th graders help students begin envisioning their futures early. Our involved PTA creates memorable events for families, while strong community partnerships provide school supplies, warm clothing, mentoring, meaningful experiences, and joy for our students. With highly involved administration and strong communication with families, Stringtown Elementary is more than a school—it’s a community where students are known, supported, and inspired to succeed.
